Early Years Programme
The International pre-school was established in January 2003 to cater to students from ages 1 through 5 years old. As a result of the PYP re-evaluation in May 2016, it was recommended to rename to Early Years Programme (EYP) for ages 3-5, while ages 1-2 remains to be the pre-school class.
At our school, we believe that education influences and reflects the values of society. It is important therefore that in our school, even at this young age, we recognise a broad set of common values and purposes that underpin the school curriculum and the work within the EYP and pre-school.
Education is the route to equality of opportunity for all, a healthy and just democracy, a productive economy, and sustainable development. Within the Early Years Programme reflects the enduring values that contribute to these ends.
The EYP strives for a balance between the search for understanding, the acquisition of essential knowledge and skills, the development of positive attitudes and the opportunity for positive action.
